Snapped stud - opinion needed
Okay, I was a hasty, cocky son-of-a ***** and broke one exhaust stud because I didn't use heat. Well, I hoping I’m in luck. Please take a look at the photo. It seems like the stud broke off deep inside the hole. Is there enough thread left in the head for me to screw this one back into the hole and secure it with Locktite?

You think so, Ed? I looked at a close-up photo of a new stud from the PP catalog, and it looks like new studs have a bit more thread on the end that goes into the head.

Get a new one, screw it in, and say 10 hail marries! This is your lucky day. Some times rusted studs just unscrew like yours.

Well, I'll be damned if it did just unscrew out of there! I can now go to bed and rest easier now. Thank you.
