Hi all, I am
having a hard time locating the OEM turn signal switch and was wondering , Are the switches able to be used in more than one model year application , Without cutting & splicing ? Can i change out my switch with another year model switch ? Thanks

The Pelican Catalog shows this:
![]() You do not show the year of your car, so it is hard to figure out which one(s) would be appropriate.

That's where it gets tricky. The car is a 70 T updated by the PO to a 81 SC . But the turn signal switch currently is the 74-75 model # 911-613-305-00 go figure , That's why i was wondering if certain years cross reference to other years without modification . Could the wrong model year switch account for my high beams not coming on ? My flash works just fine when you pull the stalk back . When you push the stalk forward for high beams , nothing . Thanks

You may be able to repair your existing switch. Check this thread for some tips: turn signal switch quick fix pictures
If I am not mistaken, the Flash to pass function is handled by a different part of the switch then the switch between high and low beams. That my be why your flash to pass still works. Also, while I am no expert, the difference between the 1970-1973 switch and the 1974-1975 switch MAY be shape of the external stalk. In the earlier cars, it is a U shaped channel and the later cars it is a round shaft. Electrically, they may be identical.
