915 Trans Question (picture)

Pictured is an 915 output flange(4 bolt 2 pin) from a 74 915. What later years 915 transmissions will this fit as well. Not sure what year 915's that these were changed to a fine splined flange. Thanks

Pretty sure these flanges were used 72 thru 76. Fine spline and a smaller (100 mm) dia hub were used from 76 through early 85. 85 and 86 used the 108 mm turbo, fine splined flanges.

Close, but no cigar. 915/61s built for 1978/79 SCs also used the coarse spline, 100mm flanges.

The finesplines started in 78 SC with 6 8mm bolts and the coarse splines with 6 8mm bolts was 76/77. The SC splines ran through mid 85 then went to 6 10mm bolts and larger hubs like the pre 76.
