but even used stock ones are expensive too.

besides the hefty price on lightweight lamp holders
another downside is all the rocks thrown
from the rear wheels cracking them.

these may also eliminate a nasty area for crud build up and consequent rusting

we'll just have to hope they are strong enuff to withstand the media blasting from the rear wheels
