Bored, looking to do a DIY wrapping color change
Been looking at a flat black stealth mode on my GP white 911 cab.......since my vinyl bidness has been trashed due to cut rate competitors, I'm thinking of wrapping the ride instead of painting it.
I've looked at a few tutorials, seen a few finished products. 3M and other manufacturers claim a five year life. Product will run around $400 plus my labor. Heat gun, squeegees, a helper and time...... Anyone done it?

Given that it's easily reversible......why not?
Is this the next "thing" in lieu of a respray? My largest concern would be rust, if you have any now you haven't found will it be worse (or not found as soon) under the vinyl?
