SC 02 sensor wire
In a search I found many posts describing a crumbled 02 sensor connector, and describing homemade replacements for the connectors. One issue I didn't see addressed - on the SC, the wire going to this sensor is a thick green coaxial (one insulated wire inside another). Does the inner or outer wire connect to the single wire of the 02 sensor? I have attached photo (not mine) showing the wire. Thanks

Inner. Outer is shielding only. I had this same issue and fixed it with a crimp on connector. Not a big deal. I read a bunch of posts on this and in the end I concluded that a good solid connection would do the trick. A lot of people did far more extensive fixes than I did but the car seems to run the same so I would call it a "win."
Good luck! Larry |

Thanks. That is what I'd guessed and I used a crimp too. I wanted someone to confirm it was right before I started car though.
