wont idle!
So my 76 911s wont idle all of a sudden. When it is cold and i start it up for the first time it will idle. But when i take it onto the road it stalls at every stop or any time i hold the clutch in. It is a DD so I have had to come up with some very funny footwork lol

Check for a vacum leak somewhere. CIS or carbs? If CIS equiped with a pop off valve in the air box check that it is seated properly.

Forgive my ignorance but does your car have a manual choke on carbs? Binding cable or linkage could cause this problem. If it is injected, perhaps the system to enrich a cold engine is faulty and staying on. As was said by pete, a vacuum leak could potentially cause this condition as well. Cheers

My car was doing something funny once upon a time. I found several of my spark plugs were lose, could be turned by hand. I cleaned them up, put them back in and everything ran a lot better.
Torque them down if that's it. Vac leak would be my first guess though.
