GT Limited Slip -- and a good cause
The Rennlist mailing list has spent the last 9 days trying to raise $5,000 for a member who fought off cancer, got himself an SC because life is short and precious, and then faced having to sell the SC because his wife needed an operation on her leg so she could continue to walk.
I'm not writing this to enlist support for the fund-raising drive, but... One of the vendor sponsored deals to raise money for the operation was Paul Guard of Guard Transmission offering a torque-sensing limited slip differential for only $1000. There were no takers, so today he lowered the price to $750 -- for a great limited slip (I've got a GT limited slip on Black Beauty). So I'm posting this here because if anyone is looking for a limited slip, this is a great deal on a great unit. If you are interested in helping the fund raising, there's information at: http://www.rennlist.com/donsc.htm But they're already over $4000 (out of $5000 needed) in nine days, so I don't think it's going to be a big problem meeting the goal. Still, a great deal on a limited slip, with a lifetime factory warranty on it. Quote:
