I was looking for a rarer color but this car was everything that I've been looking for. Low mileage, 2 owner car and a PCA member for years. I created a wonderful relationship with the owner and we made a deal that I couldn't be more happy with. I feel really blessed that P-Car owners have so much dignity and respect in these transactions. I will love this 911 for years to come. Like they say, "You can't judge a Porsche by it's color." Also, this car will be lowered one inch and will ride on the same 7's and 9's with polished lips. Pics to follow.
Much love fellow enthusiasts!!!!

Thank you, Scott. I am debating doing so. I appreciate a fellow Pelican's advice. I think it may set it off a bit but I may keep the anodized.
Best, Greg

Same car here, 87 Carrera, red. Very nice, now you just need to put some miles on that thing! I've made a commitment to not be satisfied unless I get 10k plus miles per year on mine, not "saving it for the next owner". Been very satisfied/happy for 3 years, almost to 200K. The more you drive it, the more you'll want to drive it.

You scored Dude! Absolutely gorgeous!
+1 to L8Brakr. Best bang for the buck, performance wise. Get the Steve Wong Chip, as well as a cat bypass from our host. The driveability will improve, as well as performance, and even MPG's! This will really wake up the car. Also, consider getting the Fuel Injectors over hauled. Brad Penn Motor Oil changes every 5k, and Valve adjusts every 15k, and you willhave years of happy miles! Enjoy! 911CHIPS - Performance Chip Tuning for the Porsche 911 FI overhaul runs about ~ $150, with a 2 day turnaround at RC Engineering in Torrance. I just had mine done a few weeks ago, and Aase Motors uses them all the time. RC Fuel Injection

Well you really only need Fuel injectors over hauled if the car is not running well. If the car is running fantastic, why toss money away? If they are clogged and their spray pattern is not complete, the car can run rough. But if it does not miss a beat, why do it? Also, why lower your car? 911's are so low anyway it's very easy to scrape the front on very slight dips anyway. You have a very nice car. Good for you. If you live in San Diego, try taking old Hwy 94 in the southbay and you can drive over 50 miles of winding roads all the way to Campo. Google it. I have been driving it for years in my Porsche cars. The cool thing is, you will be out in the sticks in a few minutes. One of the very few places in So Cal where you can still do this. Nick

Nice looking 911 and welcome aboard. Get to know her before you let the mod bug really bite you.

Thanks for all the tips, guys. I had a 73 "T" and have also enjoyed two 73 914 2.0's
My family and I shared first place with another guy at the Porsche Parade in San Diego a few years back. We entered a white 74 Carrera and shared 1st place in a restoration class on the day of the Concourse. We have a very nice collection on P-Cars in my family that includes 2 original 356 Speedsters and others. (I'll share some pics All of my cars have been extremely pampered, as this one will be.The car already has a mass air flow sensor, Steve Wong chip and B&B dual outlet exhaust. The rear ride height is killing me so it will be brought to Euro Spec in terms of stance. I have been on this site for years and love everything we all offer to one another. Thanks for all the kind words and stay tuned for more pictures. It will be loved for years!!!! Greg

Congrats on your new ride.
Here's my '86 lowered to Euro height. Winders----what's wrong with polished lips? jk. If we all thought alike, we'd all be driving black VW beetles.
