My 71t has good brakes but they require very heavy effort for hard stops. The rotors seem a bit glazed so is that the problem? What kind of pads have a hight coeficient of friction than stock? Will this help? The car gets autocross and hard street use. Thanks, Alex

Generally the rotors don't glaze. With extreme usage(track work is the only place I have seen this happen) the surface of street pads can and will melt forming a slick glassy surface which is not conducive to efficient stopping. Try a new set of pads perhaps with a more aggressive compound. Pelican has a wide selection available.
