911 2.7 Targa '74

Firts of all, let me say hallo to all of you!
I'm a new user from Italy. I'm the owner of a 987 2.7 which I'm going to replace with a 911 2.7 Targa MY '74 restored
Some of you, may think I'm downgrading, not in my opinion!
This is the car (sorry for the small pic, others will be posted soon)

Could somebody help me and tell me which color code is the 911?

If you check we recently had a discussion about "mid year" Porsches and yours falls into that category. My '77 2.7 is great and runs beautifully - Welcome!

I don't know what the door jam tag code is. But in the Porsche color books the code is Z5Z5 .

The correct factory name (depending on the language) is :

(at least for the same color in 1976-77. I believe the same prior)

German / Diamant Sarah or Sahara Diamant

English / Sienna Metallic

French / Rouge Sarah (or Sahara) Métallisé

Italian / Rosso Bordeaux Metallizato

I'll get paint code, as per label/stick, in the very next days.
Reverting soon

P.S. another question: where could I find Owner's manual which is not with the car?

Porsche 911 & Carrera Books & Technical Documentation - Page 4

I see that they are listed as no long available - but now you know what to search for - ebay perhaps?

Gee, I have one also; an S Targa #26.

This is my ex-daily, retired to resting quietly.
It needs a new home.

I parted with driving it in favor of a coupe.
My big feet (12) don’t fit a Targa well.

Best,
Grady
