Dumb Question about speedo

I just replaced all my gauge bulbs with the LED ones and now I have a bright green light on the Speedo that I do not know what it is for. Can someone enlighten me as to what it is please?

I know I am an idiot!

These cars can be mysterious so don't be hard on yourself.

If it is a Euro spec, it could be the "city lights" indicator. When you pull the headlight switch out 1 notch you light the parking/running lights and a small bulb in the headlight.

I don't know if the US/Canada cars have an indicator light for just the parking lights. If they do, then it could be it.

US cars are the same.
Turn on your parking lights, and look for green. Then turn on your headlights, and it should go out, except you should get blue for brights.

Factory Driving/Parking Lights Illumination?

Some of the best $$ I spent was on an owner's manual for my SC. I think I got it off EBAY for $20 or so.

I read it cover to cover and had a few 'ah-ha!" moments.

I have the manual and just checked, you are correct! It is the parking lights, but it does not seem to go out when i pull the switch all the way out. hmmmmm perhaps it is an issue still.

It's possible the bulb/wire inserted into the green light socket is not the correct one but rather an instrument light, which would stay illuminated in all positions of the light switch. Double check the wiring color to the green socket.

Do the parking lights go out when the switch is pulled all the way out?
