My new SC coupe
Hey everybody,
I was bitten by the porsche bug about a year ago, and haven't been able to get it out of my head since. I gave in, and set some money aside and started looking a couple months ago for the right car. A few weeks ago I finally found it in Denver. It's a 1983 Porsche 911 SC with 79,000 miles, Red/Black coupe with no mechanical issues whatsoever. I have to tell you that even in the 40 miles I've driven this car, I've fallen in love with it. When the snow clears up more, I'll take some more pictures. My plans for the car are pretty much nothing. I will be driving the car as an almost-daily-driver in the summer, so I am going to put a better stereo in (and keep the original stored) but keep the rest completely as stock as possible. I love the car exactly the way it is. I've thought about putting a momo steering wheel in, but the original doesn't bother me as much as I thought. Although I do like the looks of some of the momo's. Hope you guys like it! edit: Forgot to mention a big thanks to everyone here on the forums! I have been lurking around for a while now, and so many people have been so helpful. The forum itself is extremely helpful too. I don't know if I would have learned one tenth of what I did about these cars without the threads on here. Awesome! That's a nice looking SC!
You're going to have a lot of fun with it......wish I had a clean red SC..... |
My husband would weep with joy to have your "garage." Very nice space. Very nice indeed!

Congrats on the new car, that is a super clean SC!

Wow, it looks almost brand new! The carpet and paint look perfect, nicely done!
Good luck not slipping down the slope of making it absolutely perfect! CATTMAN |
Fantastic car! Don't worry, your bug for a Porsche 911 will only last about 30 years or so. Nick

Very clean car! I am sure you will have many miles of pleasure with it!

Beautiful car. That's exactly how I want my 1980 SC to look. Mine is the same color. I am currently refinishing a stock decklid so I can take off the turbo s tail that is currently on it. I have polished Fuchs and want to replace them with black ones like yours. Congrats on a great looking car.

That looks like a really clean, well-taken care of car. Congratulations on a good purchase!
