Fantastic !!!! Cheers Trevor Our SC is going to be my DD and I drive Hwy 49 daily....... In the dark on both ends of my commute. HWY 49 is very dark( like the deepest pit from hell), very twisty, and littered with rodents w/antlers (aka: deer) with an occasional bear thrown in for excitement. The more light the better....... |
Is it possible to use the existing painted light bezels on a 78 SC if they are in good condition or does this conversion require new bezels?

i very much admire these projects. I do feel the "NEED" to do this at point. I however am hesitant to step forward because how it changes the look of the car. Many like projects make the car look "stunned." Even the Singer version does the same. I took a look at few other cars with like round headlights with HID projectors and observe that if the projector is off-center, then the stunned look may be softened.
Do you see if mounting the projector a little off-center doable with how the stock H4 parts are constructed and if space is available? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1389210176.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1389210194.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1389210206.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1389210267.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1389210286.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1389210315.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1389210328.jpg |
Anyone tried the headlights from HIDProjectors.com?
They look a little "wild", but if it fits, should be a good alternative. |

Nice!
Nice job!
I bought the D-Zug HID Bi-Xenon headlamps and they do work and install quite easily but they came with 6000k bulbs and they shone too blueish for me. I bought a pair of 4300k bulbs and switched them and now I get a clear white light. I know it is a personal preference, but to me blue xenon does not look right in any kind of early 911. MD |
