haha thanks i think i surprised myself on this one:eek:

the electrical part was the longest, and hardest part,...reworking these into the original wire harness,...trying to keep it as stock looking as possible

Conversion

Hey Jimtweet
Going through a restore on my 1986 factory turbo look. Very interested in your look for projectors. My lights are out and was wondering if you have nailed this technique down and are willing to help me out. jimskiwithsoul@gmail.comSmileWavy

Hello Jimtweet
We talked about that conversion for my restore. Since my car is already painted and the engine being reinstalled: I am not amicable to cutting into the fender.

Jim is it possible to go with another arrangement of projectors that do not require a cut into the fender?

Sincerely,

Hi Jim,

Could you please confirm that you're using the FX-R projectors? Assuming FX-R, I noticed that the FX-R projector lens is the same diameter as the morimoto mini (2.5 inches). The mini seems much easier to mount. Any reason for opting for the FX-R?

Thanks and great thread!
Adam

Installing Jim's HID conversion was one of the best mods I've done on my car. Highly recommended.

Those are probably the best HID conversions I've seen. Great work Jim. My compliments to you.

Can I ask a couple of questions:

1. Does the reflector lense give you both a high and low beam; and
2. Can you still fit the little side light bulb?
