Webers Overflowing fuel?

I have a 2.4 with Bieker rebuild about 2 years ago. After driving the car a while (short trip) and shut it off for parking. I am seeing Fuel leaking from the bottom of the carbs. It looks like from where the Vacuum advance is... However on both carbs.

Any ideas what it may be considering this is a new development?

Float Level? Sticking Needle? Needle Washer set height?

???

Thanks

Is it leaking around the throttle shafts or from the bottom flanges?

Do you have an insulator kit (between the heads and manifolds)?

One carb appears to be comeing from the Vacuum tube connection and the other is possibly the throttle shaft. The leaks are both located only on backside of the carbs (near the firewall) .. not the entire carb

Whats an insulator kit?

THANKS!

Its something you desperately need!!!!

With today fuel formulations, you need the insulator kit to keep the manifolds carburetors cooler that prevents fuel percolation when the engine is shut off.

Heat soak during this time is the source of your problem as the fuel in the float chamber is boiling and thats what you are seeing.

The insulator kit gets installed between the heads and manifolds and will cure your problem as long as your float levels are absolutely perfect.
