Bob Chapman photos...unbelievable
I was fortunate enough to have Bob spend the first day of the Tracquest DE taking pictures. Here's two he took of me. The sky was grey and not conducive to great photography. Bob prevailed anyway. Not sure how he did it but that lens was as long as my....er...um...arm. If he ever shows up at one of your events...beg and plead him to shoot you.

Very nice!! Overcast days = best for photography; sunny days = worst!

yeah, great photos - the shiny reflections from the paint really stand out!
btw, do you have a roll cage in that car?

Super pics!
I love when a picture is so clear you can see the reflection off the side of the body. Doug '81 SC |

How's the MagBra working, Mike?
Any nasty marks on the paint after you take it off the hood?

Ha! Good eye....no roll bar. Tracquest has more lenient rules than PCA. Had planned to install a DAS bar but would have to either remove or cut up the parcel shelf, as well as drill holes in the floor. I still intend to add one but when Tracquest came to town and didn't require it, I signed right up. I know, its not smart to take the risk, but I just couldn't resist
![]() The magbra is great for these things. I only use it for long drives, track, etc....not for routine weekend jaunts. It leaves a slight haze after some time in the sun, but it comes off with a coat of 3M hand glaze and a light coat of Mothers Carnauba wax. I recommend it overall.

Thought I would post another picture or two of the traquest event. Bob was shooting on Saturday- which was quite overcast. Pictures still turned out great.
I am glad I had my helmet on, so you can't see how wide my grin was- you would be jealous. I could have eaten a banana sideways. Notice the wheel lift and I was even hitting the apex!! Thanks for the pictures Bob. Gary ![]() ![]() |
