I'm a year plus into a rolling refurbish ... so it's a little late to return the car :-)
The MAF works well and I do not have the original parts or non-MAF chip for the ECU.
Since my local smog guy passed me the last time with my official letter, he'd be hard pressed to not pass me again in two years with the same setup.
I like the blond idea ...

The Autothority MAF is a little bit of a kluge and I'm considering putting a PIC processor between the MAF and the ECU to add back in the Fuel relay cut-off, air temperature adjustment and provide a means to adjust the air/fuel ratio outside of the ECU. So - I'm going to live for a couple years at least with the MAF.
