Wheel locks? (black keyed)

I bought my car with these black, plastic coated wheel locks and, of course, no key.

Anyone know what brand these might be and how to get them off??? These came with a plastic cap, which I removed to show the key hole.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Eric J.

It seems like the general consensus on these is that they are a pain:

wheel lock refuses to unlock

No wheel lock key....What to do?

Wheels Lock - no key

That being said I have them on my car. I have no idea how many different keys there are for these. My key is stamped with the code HP 387 and I'd be happy to make a copy and send it to you to try.

Good luck!

Just trash them, I drilled a set off years ago, it was very easy to do. They are not worth the hassle.

If you can't find someone local to give you some new lug nuts, I have 4 OEM ones in the garage I could send along.

I believe I still have the original set from my '88 Carrera, which you can have if you need them, just let me know. I changed to the keyless type.

I also drilled mine off and replaced with a new set...key included. Just get abount a 3/8 inch bit and bore down on where the key inserts. The aluminum quickly shears off.

Actually, if you get them off, I can send you 4 used plain lug nuts to replace them. Free of course.
