Advice on neglected 86 911

I just got back home after 2.5 months away for work and now it seems that I will be leaving again for another month possibly more. My 911 has not been driven since the end of October when I did a 3K mile trip in it.
The car has not had the oil changed since the 3k trip, nor have I had time to wash the road grime off. ?9 (I did not plan on neglecting the car, I thought I would be home in early December)
Now I would like to move it from the garage in the city which is unheated and where I can not do any work on the car, or have it on a battery tender (the rules ) to a garage which is warmer and has power for me to put a battery tender on.
My questions : most importantly : will leaving the dirty oil in the car for 4 possibly months cause any problems ?
should I run a damp cloth over the car to remove the road grime before I prep the car for storage
I plan to follow the instructions on many threads here for winter storage. Over inflated tires, Satbil in the tank, Battery tender, cover the car.
Thanks

Aren't there car detailing services in NYC? It seems to me that as you are asking, it's weighing a bit on your mind. Consider having a basic entry level wash/wax/vacuum by a pro. Just a thought...

Just fire it up and drive. 4 months isn't an issue. I wold wash the car or leave it alone. Running a damp rag over dirt will just scratch the paint.

Change the oil and wash the car properly. Fill the tank up with premium gas and add Stabil to the tank. Put about 36lbs of air in the tires. Drive the car and get it up to temp and then continue drive for a good 20 minutes. Leave the car in 2nd gear and the handbrake off.

As long as it's out of the weather, it'll be fine.

+1 on filling the tank and adding stabil, but run it for 20 minutes after you put the Stabil in to get it in the system. Ditto on the tires. If you're not going to wash it properly, leave as is.

PLEASE, PLEASE don't "run a damp rag over the car" It's better off w/ the grime protecting it

I agree, give it a short exercise as soon as you are able, disconnect the batt. completely if you have to leave it be for another few months but 3-4 months isn't going to truly hurt anything.
