Newbie introduction

I have been quietly observing and learning for a couple of months and want to thank everyone for sharing their knowledge and experience. I have already made a couple of repairs and upgrades using information I have gained from the forum and the Pelican website. I live just north of Atlanta and purchased my ’85 911 in October, it is a European spec that I purchased from the original owners son, with maintenance records dating back to 1987. It could use a new top down the road and the paint is a little rough in some places but it seems mechanically sound so far. Here are a few pics…

Damn that's pretty, is it a turbo look or 930 or a nice widebody conversion?

Thanks! It is a Turbo Look... The original owner said it was converted by Porsche but I was unable to verify that His son thinks it was modified by DP in Germany.

What size are the rear wheels? It might be the pic but they look wider than 9 inch.

I'm not sure I measured from the right place but I measured them at 10 inches.
