Cup 1 wheel question - real or replica?

I've got an opportunity to purchase four 17x7.5 ET52 Cup 1 wheels in rough cosmetic shape. But I'm not sure they're real, as they are stamped "made in Italy". I don't see any Borbet stamps (or any other branding), but I don't see any Porsche stamps either. How do I tell if they're real or replicas?

Here's a photo of one:

P.S. I'm aware they wouldn't fit my '84 w/out gonzo spacers, they would be for another project I'm working on . . .

easiest way is to look for the porsche part number on the inside of a spoke.

What car is that on? Those are not 911 fenders.

I have Cup 1 replicas, and they are stamped Made in Italy. I'm almost positive that the real Cup 1's are made by ATS in Germany.

Likely made by Mille Migla in Italy. If so the offsets should fit a 911SC/Carrera/964. Check the ET number on the back.

I am going to guess that is on a VW Scirocco, but I'm not 100% on that.

As for the wheel being a replica or real Cup I, if there are no porsche part numbers stamped into the back of the wheel, then it is a replica and therefore made of a mixture of lead and butter.....

Wow, excellent guess, it is indeed a Scirocco 2! And I can't find a Porsche part number, so replicas they are. ET is stamped as 52. Thanks guys!

Mmm, lead and butter
