New here so here it goes...

10 Years ago I had a red 79 930. I sold it and got into rails and Banshee's....well I'm out of those and back into the Porsche's. I wanted a everyday driver and have always loved the slant nose cars. I found this one here locally for a decent deal. It's not perfect but I will be driving it almost everyday and I didn't want to ruin a super nice one.

Details are 86 carrera cabriolet, widebody conversion, steel slantnose fenders and 75K miles. Stock drive train and engine.....for now.

My screen name came from my old days of buying wrecked GTI's and Jetta's and parting them out. I found that it's a lot cheaper to buy a whole car, take what I need, sell the rest, usually for a profit.

Here are some pictures of the car.........go Ducks....oh wait too late for that!

Welcome aboard. Car looks good. Here is an idea for paintwork if you ever decide to "liven it up" a little...

Congrats on your new car. I met the previous owner a couple years ago when he was putting a new exhaust on it. I recall he has (had) a couple other 911's. Glad to see it stayed somewhat local.
