Value of well running 2.7?
For all purposes - rebuilt approximately ~4000 miles ago.
Carrera Tensioners - New bearings - new case - runs very well - CIS - many new parts. leak down (last year) between 3-5% - (valve covers also removed last year, no pulled studs) 2 coolers - so has been kept cool (under 210F) It's in the car now - Need to budget for the 3.6 so want to get a ballpark. ![]()

Just my two cents, but a "known quantity" engine has value somewhat regardless of the displacement. I'd buy a good 2.7 over a questionable 3.0 or 3.2 for the same price any day. But that's just me. My old 2.7 was a wonderful engine.
Value? I'd guess $5k all day long.

Thats about right, depending on who did the rebuild and precisely what was done as well as the parts list.
