Cruise Control Hoses and Wire
It is with great pride I delete my non-functioning cruise control. Can I leave the hoses unplugged? (I assume the wire can be left alone and tied down.)

Yes, my wrench forgot to connect it and she ran fine no vacuum leak. She just did not engage the cruise because the device is dependent on that hose.

I don't think so. I removed my cruise control and recall two hoses? One goes to a tee in behind the engine. That one draws vacuum I am pretty certain. I believe that is a smaller diameter. The larger one didn't seem to matter.
Warning: don't take my word for it. It is a memory of a job I did a year ago. I would either plug the hose or get the real answer. It could be Draco's wrench didn't plug one hose. I removed the tee on mine. Good luck, Larry |

Thank you both. I'm off to hunt down some plugs.
