Alternator fan repair?

Anyone know if the fan hub can be replaced? If so, by who. Mine's gotten pretty beat up, which is causing the belt to slip and destroyed the pulley half.
thanks.

Harold,
Is the only issue is the housing? You could opt to repair it. These fans are not cheap to replace. Here is a link to the "how to". If you have someone with a tig or mig welder, they could add material and machine back to spec:

If the fan is in good condition and you just want that "new" look, you could have it restored and replated. Check this post, I hear Jay does a great job: Restored fan and housing

I can weld it and machine it if that's my only choice. I didn't who if Motshagan (?) could replace the center hub.
I've seen the aluminum aftermarket ones, are they any good?
thanks.

Some guys want to keep the magnesium fan. Maybe because of the weight? I hear the aluminum are awesome. Just make sure you get the correct diameter. My car is a 78' and from 1978-79 the diameter is 226mm. Most of the other years are 245mm.

These centers were done in yellow cadmium, customer wanted the fans left alone, just finished riveting them a bit ago. I can also do yellow zinc. Housings I can sand and polish or do in Cerakote if they are pitted.
