Testing for WOT

So i put in the Steve Wong chip and am going through the testing for WOT. I unplugged the Full throttle micro switch and ran my leads to the top 2 connections 3 and 18 on the switch and crack the throttle and nothing is reading on the meter. From what i have read there should be a reading once the throttle is opened after about 1/4 open. Also when i have my wife steps on the gas pedal in the car i can still rotate the throttle on the throttle body about a half inch. Here are my questions,

1 Will the engine run rich if the Full throttle micro switch is not engaging?

2 Should the throttle get adjusted so that the throttle lever almost hits the throttle body? How close should i adjust the throttle linkage?

the WOT switch closes at about 3/4 throttle

for WOT the lever must contact the stop on the throttle body, anything less is less.

I think the lever must ALMOST contact the stop on the throttle body. About a sixteenth of an inch or so kind of almost - really small, regardless...

Item 2 Definitely a Must for Full Benefit from SW Chip.

Well i will try it out tomorrow. I will adjust the linkage under the car first and then try rotating the switch to see if it opens at 3/4 throttle.
