need advise for PMO Carbs

I just purchased a set of used 40 PMO carbs to use with my 2.7 engine.
Doese anybody know by chance is I can use the 40s like they are or need to modify or change the venturis?
Thanks.

40's are fine but call (fax) Richard Parr and tell him your set up, he can recommend jets and parts you might need.

I know that several years ago Richard stopped responding to phone calls. He preferred not to be bothered and wanted to have inquiries FAXed to him. I don't know if that is still the situation, but I imagine it is.

yes, he was being bothered by people who wanted to pick his brain, chat and not buy anything

since he is trying to run a business he asks you fax him and he'll give you a very personable, helpful call back

The carbs might already be close to your requirements. What were they sitting on before? Before buying the same stuff, find out what's inside.

Venturi size
Idle jet
Main jet
Air correction jet

This and other websites might help ID the jets:
Website Introduction

Also, many books on theory and how-to as well as a good library of information here via the search tool.

Give him a call ( 310-394-0088 ) and him tell what you have in your carbs and the engine in your car.

Hey shahram . . . post the specs of your motor (compression, cams, exhaust system, ignition system) and the specs on your PMO's (idle jets, mains, venturis) and we will try to help you out. I'm running PMO 40's and I have had lots of fun tuning them. BTW, Richard Parr is a great guy and great to do business with.

Regards,
