930s Steering Wheel Part#
Can anyone help me out with the part# for the 930s steering wheel.
I believe there are 2 part numbers depending on whether the wheel comes with or without the raised hub. I'm looking for the part number for the wheel that includes the hub. I search the Porsche PET and as far as I can tell the sports wheel they give the part number for is the standard 4 spoke wheel. Many thanks

I think you'll find the part # in this thread: 930S with embossed crest--anyone know? I've been thinking about that wheel too...

There's at least two different "930S" wheels supplied originally on real 930S cars by the factory, but I'm not sure the factory ever actually supplied the cars with the aftermarket wheel called the "930S" wheel sold through Tequipment, also marketed as the "968 Club Sport".
Which was made originally and still is, by Atiwe, who also sold it as the "Indianapolis" for various different cars, in both 360mm and 320mm (quite rare). I personally don't like the later production runs as much, which tend to have a coarser grain and a duller finish as well as a large open stitched seam on the bottom of the wheel - but YMMV. Not only does Pelican sell the Atiwe wheel, they also sell the offset spacer, as well as a selection of mounting hubs. Late hub: http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/911M/POR_911M_INTdsh_pg1.htm#item0 Early Hub: http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/911E/POR_911E_INTacc_pg1.htm#item0 The wheel that comes with the horn pad with the embossed crest is getting pretty tough to get now, although some may still have old stock (and price may well be why they still have it!). Someone found a 968 part # for the pad itself, but I don't know if they ever managed to get one separately- RAID (who own Atiwe) told me over a year ago they couldn't supply it. I prefer the plain pad anyway - others like to fit the 356 hood emblem.
