Not me. The bodywork man that is working on this car. But yes, it was from bare metal sheet...

Rear flares are ready.
Back to its original shape, after 44 years...

Now they will star setting up front and rear bumper.

Next order will be all the body rubber trim.

Yes... It is a very slow project...

Had some trouble with the body guy, had to start all over again, but finally things are becoming the way I expected.

Alex. So glad to see you are still in the fight. Your project reminds me of my '69. It's mostly been a looooong term project, which I hope to get finished pretty soon. Keep up the excellent work and keep us posted. We all love to see these cars back on the road. Irish Green is my favorite color on the old cars.

Yes. Car is being restored to its original condition - at least I am trying... 😊

By the way, if someone could help me with this two issues:

- the oil tank on the rear flare has 3 fixing points, two to the inside of the engine bay with M8 nuts and one to the inner arch where the tank attaches to the rear bumper support with a bracket. Does anyone has a picture/part number/photo of this bracket?

- above the radio on the dash, there are two unused round slots /holes next to the existing switch. Does anyone has a photo of original caps used to cover these holes?

Now we are just waiting to find an original toolkit, sort the two issues related above, alignment, then to a detailer for a final polish and clean and... on the way to the next owner’s house!
