Anyone have a lead on where these might have come from?

There was another thread in the last couple of weeks about these. The McMaster-Carr ones are similar but are not from the same supplier. Someone had a line on the originals and was trying to see if they could be sourced. You might want to look for the other thread.

I've done the McMaster Carr route - and everything I ordered looked pretty cheesy. There were a few really helpful suggestions in that thread tho...

If there are are any out there - I'd love the opportunity to buy them...

These mufflers clamps (quick release ) come from Mittelmotors.de ; if i good understand that you are looking for...............

There are used for 914's rsr style mufflers but can fit 911's mufflers.

69 euros / piece.

Be careful : English version of this website does not show the same page and items.

They look nice but I have to ask...

Why would you need quick release clamps on your muffler?

It's not like you can just snap these open and pull off the muffler.
Wouldn't simple screw types be a little lighter?

This specials clamps were used by the factory to permit an easier and quicker pull-off .

For us , that's just an esthetic part on my own.

But they looks great !!!!

Going to revive this thread.

Any interest Stateside in GEZE clamps? These would be "the" clamps used on the ST's, 914-6/GT's etc.

We've tracked them down but, they need to be in quantities so... gauging interest in a group buy at $149.00 for a pair of large clamps. We're also looking at supplying two more kits:

* The Real Deal Kit - All 4 clamps for those with the straight pipes (2 small and 2 large) @ $325.00 (smaller would be slightly more)
* 914-6/GT Kit which would include a 914-6/GT tranny mount bracket and 2 large clamps $249.00

With today's rate, this would make these about $40 less than the Mittlemotor units (pre-freight) and shipping would probably be around $5.00

What say ye birds?
