painting fuchs
I have 88 911 w.the colored coded white fuchs--I would like to make them look like early style brushed aluminum(not chrome) fuchs. Is this difficult process? and if I decided to paint black , can i just paint on top of the white? thanks

Here's a great thread with lots of tips for the RSR finish.
Economy RSR Fuchs finish ??? You CAN paint black over the white but you'll want to prep the old paint correctly to get good adhesion.

You can just use paint remover to get rid of the white. It won't hurt the clear anodizing.
You can also paint over the white, sand, use Rust-oleum #7777 Satin Black; lasts forever. |
