Question Best shop in Fort Worth, Texas area for PPI?

Hi all,

I am looking at a car in the Fort Worth, Texas area, and wanted to see if anyone had any leads on the best (fair, reputable, good work, etc.) P-car shops in that area to have the pre-purchase inspection done?

I know you said Ft. Worth but just off I35 E in Dallas is a great shop I have used for years. It's Louden Motorcars on Reeder Road. Just ask for Steve Louden. He knows Porches and can be trusted.

As an alternative try Zims. I used them once and I was *very* happy. They are *very* picky on the PPI and they will tell you everything you need to know including bodywork problems and non-originality of the car in question. They really know Porsches.

Eric,

Try either Zims or Mayo. Both are PCA supporters and know most of the cars in the area, and would give you a good idea of what the car looks like. Have used both places for work on my car and very happy with both.

If you want someone to look at the car and can wait five days, let me know and would be glad to help, but have one of these two places do a through mech inspection.

I would go with Louden in Dallas. In my opinion he is the most honest and trust-worthy. He will give you a 4 page written report on the car. Very through! If you want to call him the number is 972-241-6326
11454 Reeder RD. Dallas

My past experience with Zims is not so good. Ever since Al Zim left things just went kind of down hill.
