Hard Oil Line - Nut size(s)?

Hi All,

Just a quick one if I may...

'78 911SC

Hardline (rear) fixed - 32mm? (Nut - 36mm)

Right?

Yes, I believe that's correct. I replaced them a while ago when installing SSI's.

Just getting together what I need for my engine drop, and I dont have a 32mm in my tools.

Yep 32/36 and you might need a hammer...... That hardline-flexline union can sometimes be a real bear. Might even have to resort to a pipe wrench.

As you know, I drop the engine a couple of month ago and I was in fear about that coupling...

I must have been lucky because I got it apart with two plain adjustable wrench on the first try, without realizing it right away. One of the wrench flew out of my hand and when I was going to try a second time, I realized that I had got it apart
