What's the weight of the front AC evaporator?

What's the weight of the front AC evaporator?

I took out the compressor and condensers, but I'm wondering if taking out the evaporator will make much weight difference?

Marlon

I took my complete system out about a month ago and everything was 64 pounds. Other than the compressor I bet the hoses weigh the most. If you are going to remove it, you might as well get it all out.

You must mean the front condensor? Not much weight, but yes, if it's dead weight it might as well come out. Save all the stuff though. Never throw out old parts.

Pretty sure he means the evaporator in the smugglers box. Remember to seal the holes left behind.

64 pounds for everything sounds about right.

Edit:

8 lbs, according to my bathroom scale
