Speed Control on 911SC

I am determined to repair my cruise controller "computer" on my 1980 911SC. I have the circuit board out, have done trouble shooting for functionality from the connector back in to the car and believe the circuit board has the problem. I am studying how to de-bug the board and could use suggestions from others toward that end. I probably need to set up a bench test arrangement to do this.
I have read old posts on this by Tom P. and others but messages send to him are not answered.

I sent three cruise control ECU's to be repaired here: (check link below) $90.00 each, lifetime guarantee. I wouldn't waste my time attempting a repair at that price with that warranty. The turnaround was about 4 days.

Well, I got the cruise control back from the folks you recommended and sure enough it works great, quick turn around, and has the life time warranty. I am delighted and thank you again.

how did you diagnose the problem, my cruise control is not working and i like it on the hwy to prevent tickets?

The process starts with determining if the speed control computer is bad or the signals from the car are bad. The car provides signals from the clutch, throttle the column controls for the cruise control, and brake. The diagnostics for this are in the factory manual or other good Porsche manuals. They involve using a multimeter to check resistance and voltage between pins on the connector that plugs in to the speed control computer. If this is not making sense to you then leave the job to trained technicians or drive it on down from Canada and I will buzz it out from you. You buy the drinks.
