Hilarious how the F40 never makes it off the start line...Hammond then comments how fragile Ferraris are and that Porsches are superior due to their reliability...then the 959 breaks down too.
What a great show. I still dislike that I am forced to download "pirated" videos of the latest season...why can't BBC America air these simultaneously or at least a day after? Wasted revenue potential on their part. Last edited by jkarolyi; 02-28-2011 at 08:46 AM.. |

The F40 shape beats everything except maybe a GT1 or the 918 imho.

I notice the F40 got driven hard while the 959 wasn't, maybe the Porsche didn't break down but the owner just didn't want it to be ragged around the track!!!

Okay, confession here... I don't remember the first woman that caused me to... Well you know, ... Get a stiffee! But I remember the first cars, and it's these two- followed by 427 cobra. But these two were the first to cause that to happen. ...
There... I said it. |

of all the comparisons that Top Gear has done, I think that is one of the best, if not the best comparison to date.

On one of my first DE's the guy in the garage space next to me was driving an F-40. He didn't get it out much and never drove it too hard, I guess I know why now. I have never saw a 959 "in action" until this video. It's a cool car but it's hard to get to look at it and not see a basic 911 with a lot of front, rear and side skirting.
