Just back from a trip to Europe and learned about a rumor, that "Porsche Classic" is thinking about to re-manufacture new Fuchs wheels again. It is said that 6x15 wheels will be introduced first. Couldn't confirm this rumor, but this would certainly be a welcome move. Any other information on this out there ?

Fuchs still produces the 16x6 wheels. The company is not in the news much but they still do a lot of wheels-almost all BMW wheels. Search the forum for a thread about the company; I saw one not long ago.

Even if they are, it's no news. They've been producing them on and off since the beginning. Last year I bought a pair manufactured in 2002.

Rumor also has it that Fuchs might consider production of 17'wheels - If yes, this would certainly create more options as far as choice of tires is concerned.
16'series is somewhat limited when it comes to wider tires ( from 245 upwards) ++ |

Airwolf,
that's a pretty old thread that you resurrected, but here's something you may be interested in: Big "Real" Fuchs are Coming
