Wayne was right, PAYPAL in trouble ! Be warned.
Boys,
I think our fearless leader gave a quasi-warning about the use of PAYPAL. Here's some new information: http://apnews.excite.com/article/20020212/D7HK7JUG0.html FYI.

I wondered if their IPO was going to go off "without a hitch."
It seems like they're going about this the right way (getting the appropriate licenses in all states), but certainly slowly. I'm a verified PayPal user, have had no problems with $$ transfer for buying or selling on eBay . . . but have kept an eye on the concerns voiced by Wayne and others. I don't keep a balance in my account at PayPal, but am aware that them having direct access to one of my checking accounts has some risk . . . Cheers! C. |

They've fought the banking issues tooth and nail from just about Day One. The last thing they want is to be treated like a bank with the attendant oversight.
