I do not see four digit option codes in this list. Can you use the "go advanced" option and post a pic of where you are getting the numbers?

jwash,

Not sure if this helps, but I checked my book "Original Porsche 911" by Peter Morgan. The option codes I see listed all start with an M. I'm not sure if the I denotes a different option. Anyway, I only found two matching numbers:

M158 would be a Radio Monterey in an '86 or Reno in an '87.
M464 is without compressor or tire pressure guage.

From Bob's link, and disregarding the I:
476 - Abrasive brake pad
576 - Without rear fog lamp
912 - Vehicle without ID plate

Thanks guys. I got the codes off the Autos Atlanta website which now has a VIN decoder. The page is located here: Porsche VIN Decoder, VIN Lookup, Decode VIN. Seems the "I" is likely a clerical error.
