Megasquirt Tach Wiring

Hi, does anybody know of a proven way to power the tach in a '80 SC from a ms II? I found some generic diagrams but it seems like a lot of guess work.
Thanks

What ignition setup are you running with your MS build?

I am running my tach from MS3X with the Tacho output which is a switching +12V signal (square wave) similar to the EDIS signal that works well with the OEM tach. You should be able to build that circuit (connect to JS0, JS2. JS10, JS11, D14, D15, D16, or FIdle pin) with your MS2extra like this:

If you upgrade to MS 2 V3.57 or above you will just have jumpers and wont need to do any soldering on your board.

Ancient thread I know, but

I'm doing a FrankenCIS installation on my 86 930 and want to drive the tach from the microsquirt.

Did this circuit work? What resistor values are needed?

Thanks

the microsquirt has the tach drive circuit built in and matches the one above
