My new 911!

Just picked up this '83, very cool, low miles!

Smokes a little at startup, but I think that's just because it hasn't been run in a while. Hopefully it will clear itself up.

Who would have thought you could find a rust free 911 in Ohio?

Very nice. Nothing like a clean coupe. Tint looks good too.

I get smoke hit and miss on my 81. I can leave it for a week or more and it won't smoke and the next time, two days later, it fogs the yard.

Best of luck with it.

I'd believe it! Mine spent a good 12/15 years in Michigan, Carrera though. It's all about how the previous owners took care of them; when they drove especially, weather/salt wise. That and galvanizing, rinsing off...
As for smoke at startup, it may get better, try letting it idle for maybe 10/15 seconds before shutting it down; allows more oil to get "home". You'll see your gauge needle rise. Works most of the time for me, maybe a little smoke every full moon or so....and usually only when someone is watching, lol.

Oh man I'm jealous, exactly what I've been looking for!

Nice find, what are your plans for it? Drive the snot out of it or mod it up?

It does look like a plecostomus. Your wife has to be in some sort of marine job or have a fish hobby.
