Its cheaper to buy the replacement seats, or the whole interior and do a color change.

Send them to Paul Champagne. I think he starts around $1550. But they will be beautiful. You could end up around $3,000 with conversion to sport seats, french seams, custom leather, etc.

Flat6pac says buy replacement seats which looks like a bargain given you can get a killer set of used sport seats for under $1,500.
However............. If you buy an "old" seat that is in real nice condition are their age issues with the stitching? Does thread hold up as good as leather across 30 years? |

Before I when to full time race seats, I have my redone due to old age. I did the in leather and somewhat two tone upgrade. Black outer with a very dark charcol grey perforated leather (had it pillowed) and it ran ride at $1000.00 by the time I got them back. But one of our fellow pelicans noted that you can purchase in many cases a very nice set of new to you seat for much less.
Good luck art agrimmitt@pelican |

Nicest I've seen. Leather w/laser engraved Pascha pattern. Beautiful work. No prices listed on the website. I guess if you have to ask....

I spent $300 a seat to have them redone in tweed (car has no AC). They look factory (if the factory offered tweed) and are fairly comfortable. Race seats? No. I'll post pictures if you want to see how they turned out.

Call around for a local upholstery guy. I have had two sets of early sport seats done locally for <$350/seat. One was cheaper since I supplied the correct basketweave material.

Just had a pair of mid year sports seats which were in pretty ratty condition completely rebuilt, foam, straps, mechanisms, leather ect. Cost $1900 for the pair and they look and feel great.
