On my 82 SC I'm hearing a high pitch noise coming from around the fuel filter area. It might be coming from the adjacent CDI module (I think that's what it is).
Engine does not have to be running which rules out vacuum leaks. I can merely turn key to on position (not accessory) and the noise will start. Also it never changes pitch. Any ideas? Warren ![]() |

It is the sign of a healthy ignition module! Your worries are over!

It's always reassuring to me when I hear that pitch.
