Radio delete suggestions needed
I have decided to remove the radio, speakers, and amp from the car. What can I do about this hole in my dash? I know there are cover plates somewhere. Is there any storage bin that will fit here?

I made a small plate from scrap aluminum, then glued vinyl (like from the headliner/interior trim) on. It's held in very well with friction.

If I'm not mistaken you can probably fit a 1 din bin into the hole. However, I'm not sure about the mounting for it. If the radio used the rear screw some 1 din bin units have a similar setup. should do the trick.

Radio delete plate from the host as already suggested. Then you have somewhere unobtrusive for your shift light.

find a glovebox door facia and carefully trim it down to fit flush in the radio hole. same texture, so it looks factory.

I put the radio in the glove box and changed the entire faceplate using a ribbed aluminum...It was not as hard as you would think.
