More???

Change to 3.0L:
new fuelpump?
new oil thank and thermostat?
mounting oil cooler in front and lines?
senders, oil pressure, oil liter, idle lamp, oil temp fits the old instruments?

that sounds like a good list, stock sifter (915) should work fine. Carbs are carbs, the old fuel pump will work, same psi. And also think the old oil tank will work (no CIS) thermostat will come on the 3.0 The instruments should match the senders and the 2.7 ones should work.
Sounds like a good list

I did this changeover. It's not done 100%$ but I've driven the car on the freeway. The new engine/915 weighs more, so plan on installing larger OD rear bars. A big Science Project was installing a front mounted oil cooler. The Pre-74 SSI exchangers and 2-in / 2-out exhaust help the carbs. Last thing, you'll $pend a lot more than you think you will.

I have the pre-74 SSI exchangers and a new DANSK 2-in 1-out sport muffler.
I want to might start with the front mounted oil cooler, I have DP look and have good space and air inlet for center mounting in the front fender.

Where to buy oilcooler kit with complete lines for center mounting?

I bought a salvaged system of lines, thermostat and cooler. The cooler is wheel well mounted so I bought a bracket that had to be modified. The hardest part was the lines at the rear of the car that ties the engine, oil tank and thermostat together. A good source is elephant Racing Racing.
