Bumper strip?

Does anyone have an extra rear bumper strip for my '87 Carrera? I thought I only needed one and got a guy from eBay to sell me one from the pair he won. But now I need another and there are none on eBay. They are a little expensive from the parts places. I don't really want to pay more than $25-$30. Anyone, Buehler, anyone? Thanks.

Richard,

I have two extra strips that I got from an 84 bumper. I was planning on using them to cook up a way of eliminating the jumbo bumper guards. Anyway, I really only need one so you can have the other if you'd like. I had to drill out the screw which holds the bumper strip to the rear of the bumper itself. Should be able to fasten the strip with a new screw and washer beneath it. I don't believe I drilled it oversize. I can send you the best one of the two. If you like it, great. If not, that's okay. Keep it anyway.

Let me know.

Yes, there is a true brotherhood here. I have not yet posted about the generous fellow here who GAVE me a Porsche crest Momo horn button and would not even let me pay for shipping!!! I was merely asking how to make one from a fob keychain crest and a PM showed up offering me this still-wrapped, $60-value horn button on the condition that I would use it. I'm still trying to round up a thank you gift for him, but it's sort of hard to find. My Momo looks awesome now. This is truly a great crowd and that's all the more reason I flash every P-car I see on the road.

Yes there is brotherhood here... even the "slowerras" as you called us.
Perhaps us '87 owners should band together to bring down the SCWDP with sheer kindness IT's time to put an end to exclusionary facist plot!
