this car also has a metal cis airbox and an odd looking pop off valve the engine number is *6580700 would this engine have come with a metal airbox

how do you feel about putting the nice original-style fenders back on?

also, let us know what car this is -- year, maybe a VIN, overall pic, type motor in it...

The metal CIS box is probably aftermarket. The only one I've in real life was alloy.

Are your front wings all metal or fiberglass or a combination of both?

metal conversion
 
the front fenders and the rear flares are metal, the deck lid and spoiler are fiberglass
