the slant nose fenders have stress cracks just behind the cooling fins what can i do to prevent the stress in that area would a strut brace help?

sorry i intended to continue a previous posting "long time sitting 911" and instead started a new post. supposedly this is a slant nose cabriolet that was constructed by an outfit in san diego, ca based on a 1977 911 with a 78 3.0 engine

The metal CIS box is probably aftermarket. The only one I've in real life was alloy.
Are your front wings all metal or fiberglass or a combination of both?

metal conversion
the front fenders and the rear flares are metal, the deck lid and spoiler are fiberglass
