Summer is here...

Today was a great day!!!

After having been sitting in winter storage for close to 7 months, I took the time today to pull her out and start her up. Started up with no problems and drove like an angel for the 1 hour test drive I have just completed.

Now it feels like summer is here

Next step is to do the import papers so that I can get her onto local number plates...

Fantastic Pål!

My wife and I were in Helsinki last week, we did the trip from Stockholm on the Silja Serenade, we thought it was going to be only +2 or 3 degrees C and snowy, but thank goodness the sun was shining and it was a little bit warmer. It was the first time either of us had been to Helsinki and we enjoyed it quite a bit.
I'm hoping to get my car(s) out of the garage too in the next week or so, I know I need to excercise both of the cars brakes though as they were both sticking when I put them away before the winter.
By the way, your car is looking great, time to enjoy the new engine!!

See ya!

It's about the same in the north east part of the US. I worked on mine most of the winter, just need to reinstall the motor and do an alignment. Anxious to get going.

Are those RUF wheels? They look great.

Pål, I can identify with that... there's nothing like getting your car out for the first time after a long, cold winter. Hopefully, I'm not too far behind you.

Thank you all...

Yes, they are RUF wheels. I like the look as well, but they are rather heavy.
